Unique City Homes Pty Ltd is a South East Queensland masonry contractor working almost exclusively for head contractors and builders. We are big enough to hold a program on a multi-stage job and small enough that the person pricing your tender is the person you'll speak to on site.

Who we are
A supply-and-install masonry contractor, not a labour hire outfit.
We carry our own crew of twenty — bricklayers, block layers, apprentices and labourers — along with our own plant and supplier accounts. That means when you award us a package you are buying a finished wall with a rate against it, not an hourly body count that moves with the weather.
Most of our work comes from repeat head contractors on childcare, education, medium-density residential and industrial projects. It stays that way because we price honestly, qualify our exclusions up front and finish the areas we start.

Safety & compliance
Documentation ready before we mobilise.
Everything your contracts administrator needs is issued at award, not chased mid-package. Certificates of currency are current and available on request.

Bricklaying and Blocklaying trade contractor licence 15067768, held by our director Mohammad Ali Abbassi, plus a Builder — Low Rise site supervisor licence. Both active on the QBCC register and supplied with every tender submission.
- ✓Public liability insurance
Current public liability cover; certificate of currency provided on request or uploaded directly to your prequalification portal.
- ✓Workers' compensation
WorkCover Queensland policy covering all employees and apprentices; certificate of currency provided on request.
- ✓Safety documentation
Project-specific SWMS, high-risk work licences, working-at-heights and confined-space competencies, plant registers and daily pre-start records.
- ✓Quality assurance
ITPs aligned to AS 3700 masonry requirements and the project specification, with hold points for reinforcement inspection and core-fill sign-off.
- ✓Prequalification
Happy to complete Cm3, Avetta, LinkSafe or your in-house prequalification pack — send the invite with the tender.
How we work with builders
Four stages, no drama.
The same process whether the package is a single childcare centre or a four-stage townhouse development.
- 01Tender
Your estimator issues drawings and the tender close date. We take off, qualify the documents, and return a written price with inclusions, exclusions and an indicative crew allocation.
- 02Award and pre-start
Subcontract reviewed and signed, insurances and QBCC licence issued, SWMS and ITPs submitted, inductions booked. We confirm lead times on brick and block selections immediately — supply is usually the long pole, not labour.
- 03On site
Leading hand on every gang, daily contact with your site manager, weekly look-ahead against your program. Variations priced in writing before the work is done, never after.
- 04Handover
Progressive clean-down and inspection, ITP sign-offs, short defect list closed out inside the defects window, and the area handed back swept and clear.

Where we work across South East Queensland.
Standard travel radius is roughly ninety minutes from Brisbane. Outside that we still tender larger packages where accommodation and travel can be allowed for — just flag it in the enquiry.

Architectural and structural set, program dates and site access notes are enough for us to start. Most masonry packages are turned around within five working days — sooner if your tender closes before that.
